Long Range Rifle Course | Fundamentals

This is a two-day course designed to combine our 101 and 102 curriculums into a fully immersed training program encompassing everything needed to have a solid foundation in the fundamentals. We will cover everything from rifle fitment to the individual shooter and rifle, zeroing process, fundamental training drills to increase shooter capabilities, self-analysis of shot groups to gain an understanding of individual shooter trends all on day one.

We will then move into integration of ballistic solvers and wind analysis on day two. This will cover building a rifle into the solver and getting gun data to include elevation and wind data to maximize the individual rifle and bullet combinations effectiveness out to distance. Down range wind estimation techniques will also be covered to allow shooters to apply what they see between them and the target into their pre fire checklist to increase target impacts prior to taking their first shot.

• Natural point of aim drills

• How to diagnose your target to focus on specific deficiencies

Course Overview Day 2:

• Building your rifle profile in the Ballistic Solver

• Validating trajectory based off Ballistic Solver data

• Understanding wind and its effects

• Integrating wind into the ballistic solver

• Applying wind estimation at distance to engage targets
