Long Range Rifle | 102

This course is designed to build off of our Long Range Rifle 101 Course by continuing the progression of the fundamentals. We will integrate ballistic solvers and break down how to employ them effectively to gather crucial data without having to expend large amounts of ammunition. When used correctly we can increase first round impacts by a substantial amount.

Following this we will deep dive into analyzing the wind and how to integrate it into our pre firing checklist, and how to integrate it into our ballistic solvers to help us gain a better understanding of the effects it has on our rifle and bullets specifically. This will allow us to figure out each student’s relationship with wind and how to account for it accurately prior to sending a round down range towards a target.

• Validating trajectory based off Ballistic Solver data 

• Understanding wind and its effects 

• Integrating wind into the ballistic solver

• Applying wind estimation at distance to engage targets

Pre Requirements:

Recommended having Long Range Rifle 101, or a fundamentals class from a reputable program prior to attending.
