About the event

This course is designed to expose students to a more advanced style of shooting. We will be addressing positional shooting, and the intricacies of building a stable, repeatable, and fundamentally sound shooting position off the ground. This is easily transferable across all spectrums of shooting whether you are a hunter, competitive shooter, or you are a professional shooter in the law enforcement or military.  This is a paramount skill set for any shooter who is ready to take their capabilities to the next level no matter what type of shooter you are!

We will address multiple man-made objects and barricades, and how to use them as shooting platforms effectively and efficiently. This will include ensuring the rifle stability, managing recoil, and follow through.

• 5 fundamentals of alternate shooting positions

• Analyzing and approaching alternate positions

• Drills focused on building fundamentals 

• Prioritizing the fundamentals

• Efficiency of movement

Pre Requirements:

Recommended having Long Range Rifle 101, or a fundamentals class from a reputable program prior to attending.
