Positions. Anytime I go out to shoot, I always hit a few different positions. It doesn't matter if its my long gun, one of my AR's or my 30-30. They all correlate together. But there are a few different things Im working on in conjunction with the position. Natural point of aim, and seeing what works and what doesn't. What I mean by that, Im getting a baseline based off the prop of how low can I get/high can I get. I know from practice by looking at a prop, what position I want to go ahead and get into. The last thing you want at a comp or when its time to pull the trigger on a 10point is trying to waste time getting into a position that achieves stability and a good NPA. What are some must you guys work on when going out to the range? I hate, HATE dudes that go out and just blast. Every round that goes through my barrel serves a purpose. Especially with the cost of ammo no of days.

In Welcome to the Forum
Zach here, I'm one of the assistant Instructors with the company. I've been in the military now for a little over 11years and with unforeseen circumstances; about to get medically retired. But that hasn't stopped my passion for long range shooting! I have been competing off and on since 2013 and within the past 4years, started into PRS. From there I got into reloading and started with SDI schooling to get my associates and gunsmithing cert that will wrap up here in August. If I'm not messing around with guns or testing different theories, my other passion is farming. I started a small farm a few years ago and finally got my meat handlers license which means I can sell the meat from the animals I raised. It's great for my son to learn a sense of responsibility and keeps us all busy. I'm excited for this forum for you guys to jump on here and share your personal experiences that can help other shooters like us grow in the long-range community!
